Have a squat bulldog stamped simply 'Al's' in the shank. The stem has a stamped 'A'. Both markings are in an old English style font. Pipe is decently crafted without fills, stem is clearly hand cut with a widely funneled orifice.

Any ideas where it came from? I have found a tobacconist and newsstand in Fort Collins, CO named Al's, but they are no longer in business.

Great name.....<g>!

"Who Made That Pipe" doesn't list this name.

Your assumption may be right, I believe I've heard of the Al's shop.

Looks like a great shape.
