Could be, by why then simply not post anymore instead of his avatar being gone and saying: Anonymous: Unregistered, which as far as I know, albeit I may be wrong, means that one was banned?

I believe that his departure had something to do with fallout from the "Son of Starcat" thread.

Evidently I missed that thread and have no idea what it was about although I know all too well who Starcat was. Oh well, shit happens and some people can at times push the boundary beyond what is acceptable on a forum site, whatever it was. Then again, it's none of my business and I'm sure the moderator's/administrator had good reason to do whatever they felt best in the interest of the site. I owned and ran a forum site for about eight years and had to make such decisions many times.
