Found this Curt Rollar made ASPC cavalier last month at an antique store. Nomenclature read 082GPCR2, which was a little confusing to me and I emailed ASPC to see if they could clarify.
Mr Tinsky was kind enough to inform me that 082 meant the pipe was made in August of 1982, GP stood for Grecian Plateaux, CR obviously for Curt, and that the 2 indicated a retail price of $200 and that the pipe was a very high grade for them at the time.
The shop had it with a collection from Florida (also got a REALLY nice Stanwell bamboo at the same time) for $22.
Needs a good cleaning, but I'm pretty pleased with it
