Aromatics
The guy who taught me about tobacco once said, "I don't think that those who like aromatics really like tobacco." For me, aromatics is an artificial sweetener in your coffee. Virginias accomplish the same thing, only naturally.- abram35

Am I Missing Flavor?
As for the "practice" of tasting, if you haven't already done so, allow the smoke to pass through your nose upon exhalation. I find that most of the flavors are released by letting the smoke drift through the nose and mouth simultaneously.- abram35

Capital Area Pipe Smokers Still in Business?
