    Hi! I smoke MM cob. I would like to know how to use a wind cap. Do you have to light first then put the wind cap? Or you light after? And will the wind cap that Missouri meerchaum sell will fit on any cob? Like the eaton or huck finn? Thank!

    I all! I have a smoking issue. When I smoke, on’y the inert part burn to ashes, all around the tobacco become black but do not burn to ashes so I have to scrape it off and dump it. Someone know why it do that? Thank a lot! Cheers!

    Lighter vs matches

    I found that lighting with matches is better than a zippo pipe ligther or butane lighter ( I got a colibri wellington ) The matche give no fuel taste at all and seem to not over burn the tobacco. What are your thoughts? Cheers!

    @ diamondback, MM use plaster of Paris to polish the outside of the cob bowl. I think it safe But I found that with natural cob the bowl get Less hot.

    Ok thank all for yours though , im a newby smoking cob, just wanted to try the frog once but yeah it very overpriced . Anyway I already bought a 50g of frog on the bayou! So at least I will taste this one! Cheers !!
