Burned Out, And Burned Back In.

I've been away for a while; both from the forums and my pipe. I think the reason why I dropped smoking for a while was that night where I smoked ten Dutch cigarillos with a few 8.5 Duvels, and ended up being carried to my doorstep by my buddy. Felt like I had to lay off nicotine for a while...

Tobacco Helped Build This Country: New Article By Fred Brown

I expected an economic analysis of tobacco sales' effects on taxation. Got something better

Do You Have A Small Pipe?

First and only pipe, Big Ben Ranger. I should get something else but I cannot find 'the pipe.' Well, I did find one but it was sold the very next day... Wish me luck, eh?

    Cigarettes are putrid!

Oh I tried, the paper burned faster than Nightcap. Maybe shredding will help..?

    Cigarettes are putrid!

Oh god, I had never smoked cigarettes before starting a pipe. Out of curiosity, I got a pack today and smoked one... The nicotine hit is definitely a lot more significant considering the amount of tobacco. However, the taste is absolutely awful. Not only that, it coated my mouth with an ugly...

    Bowls per day average

3-10, depends on when I start smoking

Speaking of all this Sherlock Holmes

I packed my pipe, brewed some tea; and put on the stream for BBC (mad rhymes, I know). At first I liked it. The setting and the atmosphere was really nice, but slowly and slowly it became more annoying than anything. Especially with the 'twist' (which was basically hinted several times by the...

    Sherlock got it right! *spoiler*

I really liked the amount of pipe smoking, the attention to detail, and Holmes and Watson 'clacking' them consistently as they clenched them. I mean, Freeman was already known for smoking a pipe, but Cumberbatch did the do too! ...the episode however was not as nice by any means

    Finaly understand Dunhill Nightcap

The first time I smoked Nightcap was after drying it extensively and I loved it. The second time I smoked it out of the tin, and it wasn't the same engulfing feeling that I liked about it. I like it dry!

Oh The Places You Will Go! (And Can You Smoke A Pipe There?)

Going to Turkey for a few days. Tobacco customs are rather 'constipated' there, so I'll be bringing whatever Nightcap I have left on me

    Spigot pipes?

Are the new Petersons THAT big of a problem that I will have to get an estate? I cannot really find estates of the shape and finish I want

    Spigot pipes?

Also, does this sort of stem have the possibility of loosening up over time to the point where I'll have to be careful holding it up?

    Spigot pipes?

Does it detach from red or blue?
