    Washington Post Editorial 8-3-14

Wyfbane, Soth Park references are not credible sources, lol. I do understand your point about some proponents making the "hunky dory" claim. Of course marijuana is not harmless, nor is tobacco. However we still get the occasional comment of pipe smoking adds to life span based on a report from...

    Washington Post Editorial 8-3-14

Trailboss, I find it interesting that in the first sentence of your first post to this thread you mention that this is coming from the position of curtailing personal freedoms that "they" find offensive. You then talk about the authors beliefs. I can reasonably assume that you don't agree with...

    Pipe smokers live longer?

Reality check...smoke from burning plant material, tobacco, can and does cause cancer, ed, gum recession, etc. In addition, nicotine is a vasoconstrictor. Referencing a surgeon general report from 50 years ago does not override current research. As adults we make our own choices regarding risky...

    Morning Aftertaste

Is it normal to have a lingering aftertaste the following morning after smoking? When I smoke in the evening I am left with an unpleasant aftertaste all night long when I sleep. This unpleasant taste will carry over to the following morning, sometimes even until mid day. I brush my teeth before...

    Cube Cut

Not trying to hijack the thread but since cube cutting has been brought up I also have a question. What is the best way to pack a pipe with this method....the three step or something different?

Who likes to smoke through one blend at a time?

Simenon I agree. That's why I haven't rehydrated and jarred what I already have open. I will rehydrate and smoke though. When I want to age, I would prefer the tobacco to be in the best condition possible.

Who likes to smoke through one blend at a time?

I would like to experiment with all my tobacco this way. I have to many tins open now and they are beginning to dry out. When I finish what I have open now I think I will try the one at a time method.....ok maybe two at a time.
