Who will be at the 2017 Chicago Pipe Show?
I'm going this year just as a social outing with a buddy from high school. What sorts of unique things will I find that might not be readily available to me from P&C or IRC? I'm not sure what to expect.- katarn07

Matching tobacco with pipe
I think touching on bowl size/shape would be helpful. I've seen people look at a pipe and say how great it would be for such and such blend or such and such genre. Flakes, plugs, churchwardens, 320s, Black Frigate, Stonehaven etc. How does a particular pipe compliment a tobacco in this way? And... -

Matches or Lighters?
I'm an outside smoker. Matches are a no go for me most days. I had a cheap Z-Pipe Butane lighter insert but it stopped giving me a flame so now I use a Peterson pipe lighter. Love it.- katarn07

Artisan pipes with 120$ budget
That Rhodesian is beautiful. The black/brown and smooth/rusticated contrast make it pop. The blue stem is not for me but it's not pipe so I'll leave it at that! -

Took the L downtown to Michigan Ave to watch the parade with my wife, two year old son, and one month old daughter. Crazy? Probably. Worth it? Totally. Sutliff Pumpkin Spice
I'll give it another try. I had no trouble with the pumpkin spice or the Cherrybomb that turned me onto trying Aros again. I did have trouble keeping it lit. I think I was putting hard to get it going. Maybe too wet. I usually dry Aros for around an hour but only let this one sit for 15 minutes.- katarn07
