Received the 915 Antica. Nice enough pipe for the price, although it has a bit of a whistle which is annoying. One of my pet peeves and the reason that I don't have any F. Becker anymore, as each one whistled like a tea kettle.. Anyway, the description says vulcanite but the look and feel of the stem says acrylic. Anyone else with input on that? Not the end of the world and I could be wrong...

Rub your thumb on the stem to warm it up and see if it smells like hot rubber.
