Mmmmmm.............I´ve taken 2 wild boars in sweden..........both just over 300 lb´s

Both went down with one shot with my 7mm Rem.Mag
All I can say...........shot-placement :)
And yes...................after both hunts I really enjoyed a full bodied Virginia in my "hunting-pipe"

nhsidlereidler - yes shot placement is the key. Mine wasn't very good. I had a hard angle on him and we had already lost a few others. I wasn't a smoker then but I could see how that would be a fine ending to the hunt.

7mm mag is a pretty potent round, too. The AR-15's .223 is a poodle shooter by comparison! I've killed Javelina with a .22lr but Is use the AK for a big pig.
