zippo lighter

hi does anyone notice a difference in the taste of the tobacco when use

ing a zippo lighter in regards to the fuel or is it just my imagination

Some say it isn't an issue. I can't stand the taste of the fuel though.

After years of using a zippo I reckon I can taste a gas lighter.

Like Baskerville i let any flame burn for awhile before touching my tobacco. zippos, matches, any!

I use a zippo and can't taste it but thats Me, taste is the same for Me with anything I light with.

I use my Zippo exclusively and don't detect any fuel taste!

i can smell zippo fuel and that may mess with my taste buds i use matches at home and a bic at work

I can taste the difference, you are not alone! Letting the zippo burn for a second or two does seem to help!

I tried using a lighter(not a zippo) and all I could taste was butane, I now use matches only

I bought a gas pipelighter insert - the vector thunderbird. It works really well.

I notice the taste now where I didnt before. Been using butane lighters of late and when I used my old Zippo the taste was very apparent.
