Laughing...I guess my Zippos from the 50's and 60's are very very old. I'm still looking for my very very very old Zippo from the 40's.

Bonehed, now that you mention it I do remember that thread. It had the configuration of a prehistoric (on a panel on the lower side of the shank) but the markings of a New Era (which is a smooth finish). Another GBD mystery.
