Zippo Butane Pipe Inserts

Anyone have any to recommend? I found a thread from 2015 that seems to say not but haven’t seen much recently. I love my Zappos but like the convenience of butane, especially when I’m not suing them all the time.

I don’t mind filling them when I’m using them more but my winter usage is much lower than my summer usage so it’s usually a waste for me to fill them.

Same.. I seldom use them in the winter. I’m typically inside and use matches. As I venture out of winter hibernation I start to use lighters again.

I've replaced my original Zippo lighter fluid inserts with butane inserts by Thunderbird. I have 5 total at the moment and they've all served me well so far.

On top of that I seem to be suing Zappos over lighters! If the shoe fits...

Just visited Zippo factory, they do not make a butane side light pipe lighter insert. They have a new four jet but is a real blow torch. Another outfit makes an insert but has a very poor rating.

The new lighter insert they just introduced is a soft flame one with a “angled” flame. No statement as to what the angle is.

The four jet while adjustable is a vertical flame that may be great for a cigar smoker, will burn the edge of the bowl or fingers.

No angle to that one. Actually surprised they went with a Chinese made accessory.
