Haven't seen him that young and prettied up for a photo shoot. Good pic!
More used to something like this, taken about 15 years before he died.
I have fond memories of loading way too many soldiers and coolers into pickup trucks and trekking from Fort Stewart (or whatever it's now called) to Tybee Island, just east of Savannah, Georgia.

You will laugh, but. I still listen to these songs, which we enjoyed in the eighties. This was the song of the summer at that time.
I found this marvel. It could be the song of the summer, of the next summer, after this summer.
The opening cords of this one always make me smile in the Spring and Summer. When I hear it in Sept/Oct it makes me a it melancholy, another summer is in the books.
