This is easy to answer.

I’d quit pipe smoking.

There isn’t a blend made today that wouldn’t lose its appeal over time.

Wait a minute, let’s see now…

The island is a Desert, but what about the water sea life, to help us keep our blends interesting…

Hmm various fish flavors/oils, sea urchin, seaweed/kelp and the list goes on. I guess we could make various sea style Lakelands if our blends get boring. LOL

Right now I’m plowing through Sutliff Red Ribbon (65%), various Periques (18%) Sutliff TS20, WLT, C&D Granulated, PS311, and Greek Katerini (17%)…

Firestorm. I've only smoked one or two tins of the stuff. It's delicious and too rich for my budget.
If not a boutique blend, of course it would be a codger blend. These stand the test of time because they satisfy repeatedly without fuss or fanfare. There are several but I'll start with SWR, Carter Hall, Prince Albert, Pick one,

I would answer “best” as my favorite blend: McClelland Navy Cavendish.

However, NC is so one-dimensional that I don’t think I’d want it as my desert island blend. I’ll go with my own data set and choose one of the first blends I ever smoked and one that I’ve never gotten bored of: Mac Baren Navy Flake.

I think I would have to go with Bobs Chocolate Flake. I’m an English smoker but the tin note alone on Bobs makes it my choice. I keep a little in a jar at the office because it calms me so much.

Century - Merchants Folly Krumble Kake definitely a desert island tobacco. only seen two mentions of it on here and little mention on other forums
