So for you what has the most wonderful tin note? There are a few tobaccos that seem ready to eat.

HH Latakia Flake: For me the most insane aroma of any lat or engish blend Ive opened. I stick my nose in the jar everytime I open it.
HU Edward G: It almost smells like a christmas fruit cake warm from the oven.
Salty Dogs. While not as strong, the aroma makes me want to bite it. I actually did but I dont chew so I spit it out

I agree with you on Latakia Flake it’s delicious but GLP Telegraph Hill is the one. I don’t know what Perique is used in that blend but to my senses it’s like no other, best VaPer for me out of a big selection.

HU Soraya is a great one for me.

Mcclelland flakes are in a class to themselves I think - I especially adore the tin note of their Va/Or flakes like MV 24 and Tudor Castle.

Gawith Sams Flake and Brown Sugar flake always beg for multiple whiffs upon opening.

The most heavenly tin note, by far, is the vinegar/ketsup from McClelland Virginias. Nothing like it. And not necessarily so much that I love vinegar and ketsup but because I know that signifies I'm getting ready to smoke marvelous McClelland Virginia tobacco. Latakia? Smells like a goat farted in a plastic bag. J/K.

Revor Plug smells like antique furniture made in the 1700's that's just been polished.

Warrior Plug smells like a mature cherry brandy that's been stored in a decanter made out of leather.

Ennerdale smells like an elderly dowager with flowers in her hair who's eating fruity sherbet.

And before anyone asks, yes, I do adore those smells.
