Does anyone's go to blend only come in a tin?
How does that work out for you?
Has anyone had a go to blend become unavailable?
Are there alot of good blends that dont come bulk?

My go-to blends are both in bulk. I'm sure at some point they may become unavailable, but for now I enjoy them and purchase them in bulk. There are plenty of good blends that don't come in bulk. For instance, none of Peterson's blends are available in bulk.

Most of my go to blends come in tins, and I prefer tins to bulk for storage reasons. The only advantage to bulks is that they are cheaper.
One of my favorites( Bells Three Nuns) was discontinued years ago and it pissed me off big time. I only have one tin left and won't be opening that up anytime soon.
There are tons of great blends that come in tins only.

Does anyone's go to blend only come in a tin? Sometimes (my go-to blend changes occasionally)
How does that work out for you? No difference between tin and bulk, in my opinion
Has anyone had a go to blend become unavailable? Sort of -- the recipe of a longtime favorite changed a few years back and I haven't returned to it
Are there alot of good blends that dont come bulk? There are dozens and maybe hundreds of great blends that don't come in bulk. There are also dozens or more great blends that do come in bulk. Some of my favorite blends, in fact, are available in both tin and bulk.

Amen, sir. Several of the Virginias I buy for long term cellaring are available only in tins: McCranie Red Ribbon, Dunhill Flake, Hartwell Signature. These are staples in my rotation. SG BBF is available in bulk, but all I have is tins. (And BBF is the only blend I consider a staple that is ever hard to get. Happily, I have lots of tins set aside.)
My go-to latakia blends are also available only in tins - McCranie Murdock's Pipe, Peterson Old Dublin.
Yes, tins cost a little more. But I balance that out by being one of those guys who does not feel he has to try everything.

My go to is Mac Baren's Mixture Scottish. It comes in tins and bulk but I almost always buy tins.

SG Commonwealth and SG Grousemoor come both in tins and bulk ( Commonwealth also comes in 250g foil pouches in little boxes for easier storage than the pound-in-many-jars ). Being that it comes in from the UK, sometimes availability can be spotty from one place or another ( bulk but no tins and viceversa ).
I've only been smoking the pipe for 2 years so I haven't had a problem with stuff disappearing from production and/or market.
As for tin-only blends that are lovely in my book : Peterson Flakes ( Uni and Irish ), Erinmore Flake, Balkan Sasieni ( even though some say it's just tinned PS Balkan Supreme  ) and GLP Westminster ( even though it comes in 1 lb cans beside the 2 oz and 8 oz, it's still not "in a bag sold by the ounce" )

Cigrmaster: Three Nuns is still available in tins. It was never discontinued and you can get it from Synjeco in Switzerland. But the dirty so-and-so's replaced the perique with Kentucky and while it's still good, it's no longer the magical smoke of older times. Sometimes I add a little perique to the current version and it really helps, though. I'm just glad I hoarded a number of the old tins.

no ....N/A.....no....yes.. I have known many oldtimers that have related the formula changed on their fave baccys, and a few that said Prop Glycol had ruined an old fave. Old go to was proper English, new go to.. Butternut Burley

jiminks, I know that it is still sold, but as you said, it is no longer the same blend. It is a shame because it was a great blend. I see the old one for sale on ebay often, but I have no interest in paying 50 plus for a tin. I would rather smoke 5 tins of escudo or some other blend.

I buy the big tins a couple at a time.
I have plenty of other stuff I smoke regularly -- i.e, Penzance, which does come in bulk -- so no huge crisis arises.

My go to blends are PA and Storm Front, neither really come in tins. I enjoy other blends more but if I can't decide what else to smoke, these always satisfy
