I love the Potlatch art.
Agree with SPC Potlatch as well!

Also a big fan of the tin art from the Frog Morton Series, Xmas cheer and 40th Anny. I find the Dunhill and Esoterica presentations very classy as well. I also like the classic simplicity of Rattray's labels, and Boswell's Northwoods label is also very nice.

Bill Bailey and I share a birthday so I'd have to say this is my favorite (I've had it in bulk but serendipitously picked up a tin just in time for Mail Call Monday):

WOW That's some old tin art work, especially for the Peterson. IMHO it looks a whole lot better than the present day labels ..

I know! I love those old Peterson tins. The updated Peterson tin art is too generic.

Lots of cool rare / unknown old tin art in this thread.

As for tins / blends that were recently produced, I've gotta give a +1 to Frog Morton Cellar. I love the drunken Frog in his cellar with his whiskey, pipes, and little row boat. Another favorite is the old Nightcap tins before the art was just a round sticker:

My two favorites, already noted, are the McClelland's breaching whale in various colors on different blends, with gilt highlights, and the Frog Morton Cellar grotto with the rowboat moored at the pier in the underground river. I'll always love the Granger pointer dog, and many other tin art examples, some for the drawing and some for the type faces, etc. I like the understatement of the old Dunhill and Peterson blends, among many others, just the type.

both the Dunhill Royal Yacht and Standard mixure looked fine until the EU warning label pict.regulations spoled all this ,,

By the way, it just came to my mind that Pfeifen Huber of Munich sells a blend with a sticker in the tin to cover up the warning labels. I wonder, why this isn't more popular....

This method should be more popular. I know this just from that particular blend. The blend goes by the name of "Kurt Eisner", a Burley, created by HU.

Genius! I'd love to see this more often.
