I've always been a committed Burley smoker, but like you I've started to enjoy Virginias. My favorites to date are the following:
PS Luxury Twist Flake

McClelland's Red Cake 5100

MacBaren's Virginia #1

We're talking straight Virginia?
Astley's 109, 44
Brigham - Klondike Gold
C&D Yorktown
F&T Cut Virginia Plug
GL Pease Union Square
John Aylesbury - Luxury Flake
MacBaran - Capstan Blue and Gold
McClelland - 40th Anniversary, Aurora, Christmas Cheer, matured Virginia-various,
McCrainie's - Red Ribbon and Red Flake.
SG - FVF
Vauen - 160 Jahre
Wessex - Campaign
Some great suggestions above, but some of them aren't actually straight Virginia blends.

Thank you for all the great info, guys. I cannot wait to try some of these. The ones I have tried so far have been Erinmore Flake, Newminster Superior Navy Flake, and Newminster Superior Round Slices. I love, love, love the Newminster stuff, which by the way, was gifted to me by a forum member to whom I am greatly appreciative. I really am enjoying the comparative mellowness. My wife's favorite tobacco is Nightcap and last night I put a little Navy Flake in a pipe after we finished nightcap and she about flipped. Said it was like a light dessert after a heavy meal. She's no tobacco aficionado or reviewer but I liked that analysis.

On another thread a day or so ago, someone said that Lane LTD bought Germaines, which blows my mind if that's true.
This is a typo. Actually, Lane LTD bought Germany, and they are converting it into an amusement park.

Lol. Whoops. That was me. I posted that ridiculous comment to a ridiculous thread. I thought that saying edgeworth and stonehaven were the same blend was the giveaway :laughat:
Edit: here’s the thread

Informative to read the selections. I'm so preoccupied with burley blends, Virginias are kind of a change-up and novelty for me, so I won't vote. But I do enjoy at least a few of these selected and I savor that dry sweet Virginia melody.
