What is your personal favorites in the Holmes Series of Peterson ?

I come to realize that i love those bulldog/Rhodesian a lot.
To this day i only own the Baskerville . Feel free to post picture of yours ?

I have 7 SH ("type") pipes, but 4 are Kinsale while 3 are actual Sherlock Holmes pipes. 1 of my Kinsales is my favorite SH shape, the Lestrade. Next favorite would be the Squire followed by the Deerstalker, 2 of my 3 SH's. The other SH I own probably would come in as #4 on the SH list, a Professor.

I own and like the Original, Strand, Hudson and, although not from the series, the new 2021 POTY Heritage 4AB, the pipe Basil Rathbone smoked in many of the Sherlock Holmes movies.
I don't own one, but I also like the Baker Street and Squire.

I only have the one, a rusticated Baker Street. @jiminks post’s keep tempting me to acquire a Basil Rathbone 4AB especially the sandblast.
I’m a sucker for the history and lore that come with both Peterson pipes and Sherlock Holmes.

It's a neat shape. You can find them in other lines as shape # XL26.
The Peterson 2018 POY was similar, but had a rounded shank and stem. I prefer the diamond shank/stem.
It's fun to keep looking!

Just curious, Sir, but I've noticed you keep bent pipe cleaners in your pipes. Is this to soak up moisture, or maybe to keep a pre-loaded bowl from spilling?

@romaso yes it’s to prevent tobacco from falling out the bowl when I’m carrying my pipes in a coat pocket.
