I've had one for 15 years. I am not a resident of Arizona, but I find as a California resident (at least for the time being) it is very helpful to have one. I've had my California CCW permit for just as long, (No, they aren't difficult to get) but the Arizona permit is recognized in many many states. I am renewing it online right now.

Do you have this little gem? If not, it's easy to get (You basically just have to love John Wayne).

By the way, in a multiple universe, I know John personally. He makes breakfast for me when I visit him.

I think I need to check the expiration date on mine. By the way, brother, are you still going over to Korea to assist with North Korean refugees. Be careful. They are cracking down.

Mo, I have a lot to make up for since we last worked together in 86. It is what it is. I'll be back in Golden Valley in April. Let's meet up at Dambar. I promise I'll order the prime rib and not the pork steak...Seriously, you got to let that go...LOL. Geez, it was a joke :ROFLMAO:

Arkansas' permit shares reciprocity with 36 states (one being Arizona).
I've never considered getting one in a different state.
I just assumed you had to be a resident of the state you were applying in.
I should know better than to assume.

Missouri being the world capital for all kinds of sinning, from tobacco to guns to booze to cannabis, my God given constitutional rght as an Ozark American is the only permit I need to carry concealed.:)

But that only applies in God’s own Missouri.

Jayhawkers, Arkansawyers, and other such foreign states have different laws.

So outside Missouri, follow the advice of Johnny Cash

Or if you do, lock them unloaded in your trunk.

Except... if you have an Arizona Permit. Good in over 38 states.

Fast forward to the trial:

Q You are a resident of Missouri all your life?

A Since 1958

Q And yet you applied for an Arizona Concealed Carry Permit?

A This guy on the internet said it was good all over the place, I could pack a concealed gun in 38 states!.:)

Sing one, Waylon!.:)

I hate to break it to you, but Missouri recognizes it for out of state residents. As an instate resident, why would you use it? Think about it Van.

Even inside Missouri, the thought of all the bad consequences that can arise from having a loaded pistol inside a car is daunting.

There’s nobody you can show off my pistol to besides my wife.:)

The greatest risk is getting stopped by the law. I know I won’t shoot him, but he’s not all that sure I won’t shoot him.:)

I’m at the mercy of any Karen who claims I threatened her.

Then, I eventually get out of the car.

Let’s say I go in a store, or restaurant, or hotel.

If a bad guy comes in with a gun, he’s got the drop on me.

And if I puil that pistol, for anything except a deadly threat, I’ve committed the felony of flourishing a deadly weapon.

When I was younger I didn’t have such a weighty conscience about these matters.:)

The last thing I need is to go to prison.

I’d meet new friends in there, but no thanks.:)

I'm curious ... does the "W" in CCW cover anything other than a handgun ? I believe in Connecticut a separate permit is required for 'weapons' ... such as martial arts equipment, knives, etc ...
