You Know Who You Are...

On Friday I came home to a package othe front door with a return address to Boswells. This was a welcome surprise as I have not ordered anything from them in a while. Upon opening the box, i found a brand new poker inside along with an ounce of christmas cookie (fitting) amd 4 oz of northwoods. Enclosed in the box was a card that was simply signed, Merry Christmas, Santa. Its a beautiful dark rusticated poker roughly group 4 in size. I'll wil try to get a picture up soon. Just wanted to say a heart felt thank you to whoever it was. Im assuming it was from a brother on this forum as i have never mentioned boswell pipes to my wife or close family members and none of them are pipe smokers. Since i have no way of knowingwho it was, i have no idea of paying someone back, so i will be paying it forward when i can. Merry Christmas to all.

Outstanding. Merry Christmas to you hawk, and to Santa. Pipe smokers are the best. I belong to a Miata forum and no one's ever sent me anything. I even gave my old shift knob to a racer in Houston when I installed a new wooden one, totally for free, and he didn't even thank me.

It truly is wonderful to hear things such as this. With all the BS going on in the world today, it puts a smile on my face to know that random acts of kindness such as this one aren't a thing of the past. As I am still fairly new to this forum an I haven't gotten to know the other members, I have noticed the wonderful sense of community that exists here an am grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of it. As I suspect, you are more than likely not a stranger to generousity towards others so I'm sure this gift was well deserved. Enjoy your pipe an tobacco an please, by all means, post a few pics
