You don't live in Lutz,Florida. Sounds like our post office.

You be lined up in line the worker says " going on brake".

Closes The computer and walks out. We are still standing in line.

I think they have a life hiring policy. They need to hire new ones that want to work.

Maybe rates go down and service better.

Sorry about this but had same problems with a box at the office here.

Well the postman just left. He told me it was him that delivered the packages and that he was very sorry. He said he was just lame brained he guessed and that the fella he delivered them to never ever gets packages, and he said he knew hes already delivered about 10 packages to me in the month ive been in this house so he had no clue why he messed up lol.
Anyway, i thought it was very good of him to come right out and say he was the one who did it. I showed him the packages and he said YEP I REMEMBER EVERYONE OF THEM lol. Anyway, im not stressed over it, very thankful for both parties being honest.
Just thought i would let you folks know how it turned out.

Insure your stuff with the usps, or it's gone forever. They don't care lol

MOST of them don't care, and the ones that do get a bad rap by these others. If you DO have one that does not care do this: Your local PO will not really care and will only follow the SOP to investigate. You should find out where your BMC is, Bulk Mail Center, then find out who the post master is for that location. Start there and not at the local level. They, local, are muchly overworked and only have time for the SOP. A wheel that squeaks high enough will get noticed. Trust me the grunts have only time for their own issues. The PO is structured to deliver mail not find the lost stuff. Even Santa knows this or he would use the PO instead of freezing his a$$ off Christmas eve. :D
You lucked out by having two people with enough guts to say, I did it. That does not happen very often.

I'm waiting on a package that was sent using Fedex "smart post". Fedex flew it up from CA to just outside of milwaukee and then gave it to the Post Office. Ok, that would make it local mail, so there must be some advantage to it right? It then sat there for two days, and now tracking shows it as "in transit" to Forest Park IL! Oh, and that was two days ago as well, for about a 2 hour trip (and that's being generous). I think I'll be making a lost claim on this one.
Back in my Apartment days I once had UPS deliver me a couple of gun parts, and they left it outside my apt. door! I only know this because a couple of days after it was supposed to have been delivered, I found the open package with the parts in the Laundry room! I guess they were expecting something more than a couple pieces of steel. :)
