After several years of being called "crazy" by my friends and family for spending hundreds of dollars on pipes and tobacco, I was about ready to throw in the towel and live with the title. That is until I met a friend at work who is also as "crazy" as myself. Then he introduced me to this fine forum and I discovered a whole bunch more "crazy" guys. Now I don't think I'm crazy anymore, a little obsessive maybe, but not crazy. I look at someone like our good friend Kashmir and think, someone like that would surely never be called "crazy". I look at my pipes and the thought that went into the design, and the craftsmanship that went into it's production and think how could anyone call it's maker "crazy". The same can be said for the tobacconist who spent countless hours developing the "perfect" blend. Through all of this contemplating, I've come to the conclusion that none of us are in any way "crazy", passionate yes, crazy no. Glad to be part of this beloved culture/hobby/way of life, and glad to be who I am. No matter what anyone wants to call me!
