I'm back from college now until May. The 5 week evaluation is done. So now that I'm home and always have a computer at my disposal (the library there was always packed) I'll be on here more often.

Welcome back; and don't leave us hanging...how was the evaluation? And by that I mean not only how do you feel you did, but how did you like the campus and curriculum?
I did good on the evaluation. I dont mean to toot my horn, but I usually do good at testing. I plan on on going into culinary. There is a two year waiting list. I go back in may. Thats how good I did. I dont really know the curriculum, but the campus is nice. Theres a gym, workout room, olympic sized pool, 4 lane bowling ally, an archery range, and a commons area with pool, ping pong, and TVs. Plus its on a lake, so they have kayaks, and boats. Its kinda in the middle of nowhere, and theres no cell reception, but that isnt too big a deal. Plainwell is about 15 minutes or so away and kalamazoo is 40 minutes or so away

I didnt smoke my pipe at college. They consider it drug paraphenellia and dont allow it. so i stuck to snuff, and nails

It certainly was nice to come back to my pipes. Had a bowl of penzance in my meer lined White hall over a cup of coffee with my dad earlier. He had a Wine Black &Mild cigar though
This still makes me laugh; pleasantly puffing away on a pipe brings to mind connotations of drug-use, but hey, snort this brown stuff, its cool! :crazy:
(And yes, I realize that snuff is probably frowned upon too; and you were on the down-low with it...)
Snuff scared me at first, but I wanted to try it and once I tried it, I found that I loved it. And yes I kept it on the down low. I only did it in my room, with the door closed
It's too bad that those in charge have such a closed mind concerning pipe smoking..I'm glad youre back posting again.
Most people have a closed mind to smoking in general. I tell someone I have a hookah, they assume I use it for weed, when I'm just using it for hookah tobacco
i dont understand how a facility can accept cigs but not a pipe. u show ur pipe an ur pipe baccy and that should be nuff. I couldnt attend a facility that wouldnt allow my pipe because of potenial drug use.
While I heard it from multiple sources, they were students so it could be false. However, one of the students said his friend got kicked out for smoking his pipe that had tobacco in it
