Yet Another Peterson Question

A bunch of this week’s pipes arrived and of course there is a Peterson that puzzles me… it’s nothing special a standard but it bothers me not knowing what it is. I think the person who worked on it before me fell asleep on the buffing wheel and now all stamps are gone… I will wipe the wax off in the hopes of seeing some faint lines but I am not hopeful. I haven’t had this shape so far so that’s a question and also a 9mm stem??? Haven’t seen this style of stem either… I am especially curious, because it came in a lot of three with a star and a 1971 premier

What you have there is a “Dummy” or Irish Second that someone has probably intentionally buffed the stamping off of to obscure its status. The hard kink in the stem and the crude button were hallmarks of early Dummies and Irish Seconds.
