Hi there! First post for me! What to Say? First of all, i'm italian and i mostly own italian pipes (savinellis for everyday-on-the-go smoking habit, mastro de payas, castellos...) but i own some brit and irish ones too.
Yesterday i've bought my First estate pipe (i'm used to purchase only new and break all my pipes). I've found this peterson in a thrift store for 10 euros.
Very dirty inside the well but decent on the outside. She had a very heavy crust...
After 2 hours of cleaning, the First round of fresh tobacco tasted like... I don't really wanna Say what she tasted like.... Anyway... Now She smokes wonderfully.
Now i Need some facct checking from the gurus of the forum.
She Is a shape 132 as i can see... Nickel ring (with K&P Inside the shields).
Year of production: the stamp Is "made in Ireland" in a circle so ... I Guess she's from the 1945-1947 time period.
If you can Guess or think of any other fact or detail about this pipe (likes the series and so on)...i'm all ears.
