Gentlmen,Ladies: who makes billiards or straight Princes with amber/0range stems for straights? I know Peterson does but they are pricey. Any that are not?

Savinelli Honey stem
This is the most recent orange/amber (colored) stem I've seen. Of course there are always the yellow-stemmed meerchaums out there, but that's probably not what you're looking for.

This may not be what you have in mind at all, I know, but the Dr. Grabow Royalton, available as a bent bulldog or only very slightly bent apple (which looks more like a prince to me) has a subtly orange stem. Both are good smokers. The Sav Oscar Lucite prince has only a slight bend, but its lucite stem is more ivory/bone color and the briar is a bright orange stain. You might find an artisan pipe that fits your description, or inquire about commissioning one. A young or newer carver might do one for a reasonable price and you'd get the briar, stem and color you require.
