I went to the Saratoga Jazz Fest (NY), over the weekend, my eleventh year. Among others, I saw performances by Buddy Guy, and The Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Buddy did tributes to his mentors, Muddy Waters, and John Coletrane. Many of the standard blues tunes, and some of his own. Blues is where it's at. Keep writing, we need young talent in blues.

We're big fans of the late Rev. Gary Davis. A friend studied with him, and he and his songs

are often played on the locally produced NPR show "Back Porch Music." He's one the guitarists

who sounds like a guitar ensemble when playing solo.

Blind Blake , lightning Hopkins ( got ma mojo workin) , Robert Randolph , Buddy Guy , Albert Collins , Albert BB King , and a few others have enspired me greatly ! , recently watched Cadillac records ! thinking of building a pipe guitar !
