Worst fake pipes on ebay

This is one of the worst I've seen. Notice the screw head down in the bowl. The inclusion of marketing and packaging material which are full of lies makes this a really funny and corny listing.

There are a boat load of bad pipes on Ebay, but this one may be the best "fake" ever. Read the John Loring article about these fake 1980 Dunhills, very interesting.

The Dunhill is probably best described as "unauthorized" vs. fake as it is made with Dunhill briar and materials, by Dunhill crafstsman. Made after hours and probably sneaked out for sale when things were tough at the factory. They couldn't access all the stamping dies, so the stampings are odd. I think for some Dunhill collectors, these are perhaps more valuable than a "authorized" Dunhill sold thru a retailer because they are so rare. That wasn't the case when this activity was first discovered.

Hey I will admit when I first started back smoking about 6 months ago I only had like 2 pipes. so I bid on one of the Made in China Chang Feng pipes I won it for a pennie and all I had to cover really was the shipping. It was crap a tiny bored bowl that was as big as a racket ball with a plastic stinger that was chunked first thing then you couldnt even get a pipe cleaner down the not bent but cut out stem. I gave it to One of my pot smoking neighbors and they love the hell out of it. I am just glad I didnt spend more on it...and if any body asks me if I ever got one I will deny this story till death.

Actually, I find the pipe to be quite durable and I have been using it repeatedly for a long time. It's a great little smoker!
