Woke Up To Find A Tree Lying Atop My Car!

side note at my work we have a fleet of electric cars and they're kind of weird to drive. Weirdest part is the engine stops when you stop and for the first few days even though you know what's happening you feel like the car just died. They don't feel like they have the power they do either or the pickup. Like they handle everything just as a comparable sized car but they certainly feel weird at first. (only comment on the ones we have here).

Yesterday morning I was a little late getting up as the previous day was my 59th so I partied (alone) into the wee hours. Upon opening my curtains I saw that a tree had fallen over from the churchyard next door and landed on the front of my Skoda!

Thankfully it wasn't a huge tree and no damage was incurred but it was a worry at the time. I managed to get hold of the vicar and she came around with the church warden and his chainsaw and deftly removed it.

Seems a little extreme. Wouldn't it have made more sense to remove the tree?

Jesse, I'm housebound (knackered spine) and have been for some three years (hence the car not being driven in that time) so my only recourse was to seek out the owner of the tree to remove it. I've not even been out to inspect the car, just relied on my trusty neighbour to do that for me.

Once had this happen with my work car. The windshield was busted and one of the tires blew. Termites had eaten through the tree and it just broke off at the base.
