Go to Nick's Fish Market in Chicago. One of the few places in USA where you can get abalone. Its to die for.

Bull & Bear. Take Main St west for 3 miles from the hotel. Immediately after crossing the Fox River, turn left on 1st St and left on Illinois. You are now in the shopping center that contains a really cool B&M. Very friendly folk there. A good selection of pipes and tobacco.
