Very cool… I love the way it appears the embers in the pipe are still smoldering in the next to the last painting.
It is amazing how one’s mind works, in two of the painting I picture tea in the mugs while I’m sure the it must be ale in the last painting. It’s kind of like when I was a young child and my parents still had a black & white TV, the picture may have been B&W but in my mind it was always in color.
