Just had a giant box of five of my favorites delivered a couple days ago - looking good for Friday afternoon in the garage. Only negative - I ordered the day after New Year’s Day and wasn’t sure @John Brandt would be in and I was at work, lol, and for the first time didn’t call and have a chat, just did the online order - so if you see this “Happy New Year, John” and next time I’ll call!

Is there a difference between who blends them? Interesting.

I just got a sampler in, all fantastic. Wilke is a legend. Can’t wait to try more.
It was @JimInks, very generous with his encouragement and advice when I asked about Wilke in particular a few years ago, who led to me calling in my first order. He would know more about the history - my understanding is John has continued the blends that can be continued and by all accounts has done a great job the last 8 or so years and has introduced some new blends - some with @JimInks collaboration, if I’m describing that accurately.

It’s all a matter of taste of course. But I’ve enjoyed the blends I’ve tried and developed some favorites.

Not even close to a complete list of the ones I like but No. 515 (Basil Rathbone’s blend) and No. 191 are at the top of my list. The “Lizzies”, Vermont Maple, Hearth of Galway, No. 515 Double Shot, No. 72 (Walter Cronkite’s favorite), Santa’s and ……. I’ll quit typing, lol.

He gave you good advice. I am so impressed. IMO Wilke is like Boswells older brother. 😆
