So I was getting ready to place a tobacco order and my wife decided she wanted something that smelled nice in the air. I put in an order of Sutliff Creme Brulee then told her I would have to purchase a new pipe to devote to it as it would GHOST my others. Nice lil Stanwell Hans Christian Anderson should make it here around the same day as the Creme B. Anyone else use that line to buy a new pipe??

( EVIL GRINS ) ?

Yeh, I've been gaslighting my wife this way for years. She went with me to pick out a blend that she would like the smell of. She picked Stanwell Melange. I got home and immediately dumped that shit out and filled the tin with whatever blend I was wanting to smoke. So, when she would complain, I would hold up the tin and say, "But Honey, you picked this one out." puffy

I'm just glad that she didn't pick out Erindale. I'm not sure I could stomach even the residual aromatics from the ghosted tin.

But, if you like apricots, I suggest Modern Virginia... but, most likely you've tried it.
Yes I have a LB!

the tins went on sale for $5 a while back and I bought a shit pot.

My wife likes Boswell's Cupcake. The new pipe line wouldn't work on her. She knows too much, she would either tell me to use one of the 50 I already have or buy a new $5 cob for it.

Unfortunately even though she is a fan of the room note, I still have to go to my smoke shack to smoke it, 9 month old around and all.
At least after the 9 month old she still likes to get close enough to smell it on you. ?

Thank God my wife finally came around and realized that I’m sexier smoking a pipe!

You guys are lucky to have a wife who takes at least some interest in your pipe smoking. My wife, who is a cigarette smoker, hates all pipe tobacco and thinks one pipe is enough. Do I listen to her complaints? I have over 150 pipes and enough pipe tobacco to last me for the rest of my days. You decide.
my wife has said to me " I don't like the smell, but you don't like the cigarette smell either so, smoke where you want" We both smoke and drink coffee together

Haha, believe me I am very appreciative of that fact.
You should have seen my wife have a shit fit when I aired out a half pound of Latakia-heavy tobacco on our wood kitchen table....lmao. That tabletop reeked for weeks! I didn't know the smell would seep in that severely. She hates the smell, but I like it. I think if I expose her to it more often, she might warm up to it over time :ROFLMAO:
