So my wife's grandfather was a serious about his pipes. When he died I got a big box full of various smoking instruments. I am not looking for info on all of the pipes but a few of them seems to be very interesting. Please let me know if I have anything spectacular. He had dimensia (spelling?) his last few years and I could not ask him about them.
Thanks Adam

First of all, welcome to the forum! Wow, you have quite a collection with some pretty interesting shapes. It's hard for me to tell what many of them are but I could make out that you have a couple of Kaywoodies, some really cool looking meerschaums and perhaps a Darby in the mix.

I would also suggest looking carefully for markings. The 3 plastic swirly pipes in the 4th photo, green, red, tan, look to be Hilson Fantasia pipes from Belguim. They had a meer lining and I think were made back in the '70-'80s. Welcome to the forum, and that is quite a bunch of pipes.

I'd say they are very nice. Be proud to be the one to have them now.

Nice bunch of pipes but as has been said you need to tell us more about them. I see what looks to be some Hilsons,Kaywoodies and maybe some old Linkmans and....??. You should take pics with the bowls pointing away from you and the stem pointing to your right, that way the stem trademarks(unless they are top of the stems ) can be seen.

Welcome to the forum!

Welcome avfromvt! That bent bulldog down towards the bottoms caught my fancy. You can tell he loved his pipes. Enjoy

What a nice diverse herd he had. Looks as if he preferred straight pipes. Some canadians in the herd. Im attracted to the 7th one down. Good luck with em. Massive cleaning ahead.

I really like the pipe third picture second to the top and the one in the fourth picture on the bottom (meer?). Awesome that you were given such a great collection.

The top pipe in the seventh photo appears to be an African Meerschaum. Getting hard to find now-a-days as they don't make them anymore....
