I know some of us have spouses that don't like our hobby, and some of us have spouses that don't mind. I am lucky enough to have a wonderful wife who not only likes my pipes but also helps me find what I'm looking for.

I have been wanting a churchwarden for a long time, but just couldn't find one that suited. So she goes on to ebay and fights the auction battle with 3 other bidders and bam! She did it. Not only got me a churchwarden I like but got 2 in a lot for a great price.

Yes, juni. Yes they do! Thank God for my grandmothers who taught me the art of cooking!
Someone just recently asked my wife about my pipe smoking and she not only told the other person that she enjoys the smell of my pipe, but said, "Plus it's a hell of a lot better than him going out all night to bars, chasing women."
She only got one thing wrong. I have yet to "chase" a woman. And I've never needed a bar to find a woman. I can spot a CFM look from a mile away in the rain, at night.
I do feel I hit the bullseye when I met my wife, however, and know to keep what's worth keepin'.

My wife is the same...... although I've had to teach her a bit about pipes. She used to look at a pipe based on the look and nothing else.
When I took up the pipe she bought me my first tobacco. It was two different cheap aromatics from Wal-Mart and I still have most of both.
But it's the thought that counts and I love her to death for all she does.

I cannot get my sweetie to try a pipe. Funny, since we share the occasional cigar. She says that she feels funny

with a pipe, but can't define it. No, showing her pipe babes didn't help either, lol. But she does facilitate my habit, so it's all good.
