My wife tried making them, but now that you can get them without too much difficulty she just buys them.

This is a special material with 95% Filteration, first one off the sewing machine.

Very nice. My sister made some for the family in a similar design. They work great. N95 is about the best that can be done in home masks.

I like the filtration feature that probably helps vent out carbon dioxide from exhaling. I hope I'm being overly cautious to wear one on errands, but I'm afraid not. I told the guy at the drugstore who showed up in a mask the next time I visited the store that I hoped wearing a mask was as silly it looks. Whatever works. That's a very cool gold rimmed mask; she could go into business.
