Hello fellow pipe smokers,
I had a thought, I know jarring is the best way to preserve pipe tobacco, but I just love having all these beautiful tins with the tobacco in them. So I was trying to think of a way to try to make the seal of them a little better once opened.
So I thought, what if I bought a bunch of those really wide rubber bands and just wrap one around the seam where the tin top and bottom come together? Wouldn't this, if the band were tight enough, make the seal far superior than just the tin closure?
I think I will give this a try. Just thought I would share my comtemplation with you all. Any thoughts?
