Nope. Thought about it, and the super expensive bakery benefits from faster turnover when there's no cash to dick around with. And I doubt CC fees for them would be in excess of 4%.

The local bakery here charges an extra 3% for credit cards, and no extra charge for debit cards.

A few restaurants shave 5% off the tab for cash.

This reminds me of the time I was at KFC, and the cashier was using her fingers to count the changes. Funny thing is, she could have just used cash register. Something obvious was missing there.

Many is the time that I've had to tell the person at the till the amount of change to give back. It's astonishing how many people can't do simple addition or subtraction in their heads.

There are 195 nations in this world that print postage stamps. That’s how the bean counters keep track of nations.

America has the finest post office in all the recorded history of mailing a letter.

The stamps we buy today, have no denomination. They’ll mail a one ounce letter until Judgement Day.

Most children still learn cursive in the second grade, and all learn how to sign their name in cursive.

My mother was taught Spencerian script cursive handwriting and always thought my penmanship was terrible, although I learned the Palmer method in the second grade at Humansville.

Block printing has always been more legible than any cursive style.

Which is why all those forms require you sign above a printed name.

The kids will get along just fine.

They can use computers far better than we can, and their block style handwriting will be legible to those used to Times New Roman.

We are to blame, making easy on our kids cause we had it tough, and letting bureaucrats have a free rein, nothing wrong with the kids they just weren't taught, I taught mine that's my thoughts I Garronte!

Huh? I'm suggesting that a lot if their motivation to stay in school, get out of mom's basement went away. I got drafted at 18 with no skills, rather shy and was working at the local gasoline station for $2.00 hour. Getting through boot, ait and Vietnam. I came back ready to kick ass and take names. Went to one of those 9 month computer programming schools. Started computers back when punch cards and wiring boards the ticket. Held a lot of different jobs and retired as the Sr. Network Engineer in charge of all wireless for a large group of hosipals.
