Several people have asked. Might as well provide a reasonable detailed explanation one time.

We now mostly live in Florida in a home about 40% smaller than what we had in Indiana. No basement. As I've moved tobacco here, several realities set in. No way possible am I going to be able to store all my tobacco here in Florida and I have far,far more tobacco than I'll ever be able to smoke. With this most recent sale, I've probably sold most of what I want to sell from what I've already got here in Florida. I'm going to be in Indiana in July and plan to list as much as possible for sale during that time.

It really is that simple. Climate controlled storage space in this area in Florida is very expensive. Makes no sense to spend $3,000 or more per year to store something I'll never use. Even if I sell 100 pounds, I still have way more than I'll ever smoke.

Even if I sell 100 pounds, I still have way more than I'll ever smoke. Whoa! That's some collection!

Looking forward to seeing what's gonna be up for grabs.

Mark, I did a double-take. At first glance, I thought you wrote, ". . . Even if I sell 1000 pounds, I'll still have more than I'll ever smoke." And to me, at first blush, that seemed a reasonable remark coming from you after the move and considering you cellar! I just figured you had miscounted on some of your earlier cellar inventory figures and missed a room somewhere :) BTW--as with your pipe sales from time to time, your prices made those offerings quite tempting!

Glad your getting settled and the Family's thriving! Jealous of having grandkids, also. We're looking forward to our's someday.
kindly,
mike
