My house keeper…tipped the contents down the sink

Yeah, sure she did. And I suppose you still believe in Santa Clause too?

“Oh Mister Condorlover, I was cleaning up the parlor I was and saw all those nasty dusty wine bottles cluttering up the etagere behind the Chesterfield. It gave me a fright it did to see them cobwebs everywhere so I took everything down and emptied the lot into the loo. No need to thank me sir it’s all part of me duties. Besides a gent like yourself has no business drinking wine made from some French child’s feet. Honest ale is best for an Englishman, and a drop of porter if you’re sick”

I’ve met the Polish housekeeper, and whatever stories you tell me about him, I’ll believe. He seemed amazingly adept at working very quickly with absolutely no thinking about it whatsoever.

@woodsroad: He also had an uncanny resemblance to Peter Lorre unless you are referring to his replacement Stefan the tall skinny Polish fellow and his wife Agnes who always reminded me of Frau Blucher for some odd reason!

Love me some ice cold, ruby port with homemade pizza in the afternoon. Delicious. Sandeman is a good staple in our house, particularly the fine and reserve lines.
You're making me really want to eat some pizza. I've seen wine and pizza art on a bunch of pizza box covers already.
