It is a sitter and you can smoke it while playing poker?
The stem looks like its just poked in there?
You can hold it comfortably and poke someone?

Thanks Sebastian for the scholarship. I used to have a cherrywood pipe that was shaped like the cherrywood poker, but was considerably larger. Haven't seen one of those in a long time. That is clearly where the name came from. They had the bark on them, and the bowl and shank were 2 different pieces. You had to smoke it slowly so it didn't burn out. The taste of the smoke was mediocre.
