Pictures of the insides?I concur.
Side note:
I heard about some pictures of Eva & Zsa Zsa Gabor while living in Italy during the mid-1990s;
it is a little late but I still would not mind checking them out for old times' sake.
I don't do estates though, so it doesn't matter to me!
I checked their website. Apparently they no longer offer the Colon Collection, so at a collectible rarity it might be worth having.I also procured a bespoke Villeroy & Boch bone china dinner set of the same pattern; perhaps a place setting of those instead? Or even just a dessert plate?
It's tricky to get a good, meaningful shot. Lighting and focus being the issues.Title edited to broaden subject and add capitals. Please see rule 9.
I'm genuinely curious: Why do so many sellers on eBay and other platforms avoid listing a photo of the chamber? I mean, I often see a dozen pics showing the same angles, but not a single illuminated photo of the chamber. It seems easy enough - use a flashlight, take a picture. It's an important part of information, right? I'm not talking about pipe lots or the random seller who happens upon some estate pipes, but the dealers that sell nice pipes on a regular basis. Does it add too much time? Is it difficult to do? I know I'm asking a lot here, but while we're at it, can we get pics of the shank face and tenon too? /rant
In my mind, they were showing it all:Pictures of the insides?
Zsa Zsa had great stems, I know that.In my mind, they were showing it all:
Bits
Lips/Buttons
Rims
Drafts
Shanks
Guilty lolSmoking Pipes doesnt show pictures of the Chamber. Hence why people still buy Peterson. Jk
