Why Do I Do It?!

Why, when I don't have the funds, do I still check out smokingpipes.com on Mon and Thurs afternoons? And ebay every few days?
Is it a form of sadomasochism? Stupidty? Or both? Anyone else share this affliction?

I feel your pain, NumberSix... I've got a 6-month backlog of PAD-like disorders (concert tickets, ThinkGeek toys, bicycle gear, book withdrawl) that I'm working through. :D But you'll notice that the new Stanwell came first!

Got the same habit. Aside from the pipe "art"....I enjoy their posts. Informative and timely. Would like to have lunch/dinner with those guys/gals. I suppose they would even help with the dishes.

I always look every day, funds or no. It's window shopping for me most of the time, but when I do buy I usually have everything planned in advance unless something comes back in stock suddenly.

Yeah,this place is bad for that. "OH, GUYS, LOOKIE HERE!". I am still in the process of breaking in most of my pipes, and I STILL look. Still, I tell myself it's the process of learning. Which never really ends, right? o)

Yeah. I'm like a big old bald buzzard circling ebay estate pipes.
I tell myself I'm going to restore them and relist them but of course I have to smoke them for awhile first.
