Almost two months ago I relocated temporarily to Chandler for work (work construction live in Vegas and the only job going around is the Intel project here in Chandler), and somehow I neglected to take my Lane 1Q and my BC D'accord pipe. Ofcourse, I made sure these made their way to Chandler with me this time. What was I thinking leaviing two ounces of 1Q on my pipe shelf back home? I feel I deserve to be put infront of a firing squad.
Side note, I picked up some McClelland's Town Topic of their Premium Aromatic's line. I have to say it's a rather yummy blend.

What are your thoughts on "Town Topic"? I have only had "Mellow Mack" from that series and at first wasnt to impressed, but now that it has sat on the shelf in the tin for about 2 months, it is simply wonderful! If i get more I will definately pop the the tin and let it sit for a while. Only reason I can think of as to why it got so much better was ample drying time!

Only have had one bowl of Town Topic, but it was a pretty good smoke. As you said, it was a little more moist than I'd like, but it wasn't too bad. Taste transfer was good and even though it was a little on the moist side it didn't burn at all. Pretty good smoke.

I had Tastemaster and found it was ridiculously wet. A year later and its still damp in the tin but the flavour is probably gone...

I have a B/C bull dog that I smoke 1Q in quite often. Love to walk the dog and take the long way home those days.
