Why did Cloth Sacked Tobacco Disappear?

The bespoke packaging of the Erik Stokkebye 4th Generation Jubilaeums from 2022 included a small burlap sack for the tobacco.

I think some blender could make a good marketing move using cloth drawstring bags as their regular trademark packaging. A lot of pipe club members and pipe show attendees would fulminate about how the tobacco would dry out too much, but once people saw that it worked pretty well, it would be a pleasing retro look.

And/or perhaps cloth drawstring bags could be sold as tobacco pouches for any blend a pipe smoker chooses.

I moved it into mason jar as soon as it got here. Good smoke.

Doesn't seem like it be a hard product to make for ones self. And people might be willing to over pay a bit for a pack of three.
