Many enjoy variety and Tins are a convenience. But just as in a Convenience Store, you’ll pay a premium for that convenience.
But if you enjoy a particular blend that’s offered in both bulk and tin.. Its not a lesser product.
Same Blend Run. Same Product, whether scooped into your tin or filled into a one pound bag.
Here is $200 purchased in bulk.
Or you can pay $480 for the same six pounds packaged in small individual tins.

Royal Yacht. Offered in tins but not bulk. Nothing comparable offered in bulk. It is a very unique blend that I enjoy.
Do they? Square tins fail more often than round but those seals aren’t as reliable as a Mason Jar. I’ve also opened tins with rust rings beneath the paper insert.
I like to buy in tins and stack them for storage. But once opened they loaded into labelled Kilner 8oz/250ml jars which are kept in a row on my desk.
No GL Pease blend is offered in bulk to my knowledge. GLP prides himself on being different.
Absolutely they do. I love C&D. C&D blends and distributes the GLP blends in fact.

You misunderstood, my intention was never to dump on anyone's joy, I respect everyone's choices.
I only wanted to make sure I'm not missing out by not buying tins, that's all.
Well buy some tins and see if you’re missing out then. You’re getting a grab bag of opinions but in regard to some comments, don’t buy and be concerned about the value down the road price wise. Buy because you want to smoke tobacco.
