When people talk about cubes and cutting, I think of this:

Often, difficult people can be cut into small cubes and buried in the rosebed. Make sure to dig at least 18" deep or small domestic animals will have the annoying habit of uncovering the remains...

Metal, for that to work, you need to compost them well first. Don't forget to turn them every few weeks until they turn into a nice, crumbly loam and your roses will thank you.

One more learning curve, if minor. I sampled cube cut, but it seemed to require more relights. I'm sure this is easily overcome, drying out the blend, or packing it differently, or even rubbing it out somewhat. If I found a cube cut blend I really liked, I might get drawn in. Meantime, I've done plug, flake, coin, and rope -- all good.

My experience exactly. Cube cut doesn't want to stay lit--- my personal theory is the cutting of the cubes with the knife crushes/presses the tobacco together making it harder for the flame to stay lit, and once you get one cube lit, the burn does not as easy pass on to the next cubes.

I have found that having some other smaller ribbon cut mixed into a cube cut blend really helps the burning. It's also relevant that cube cut can be pretty damn dry and still burn well, i.e. C&D Cube Cut.

I really enjoy Peter Stokkebye Cube Cut. It's half Burley, half Virginia, and cheap in bulk. I like to mix it with a little BLWB for a touch of cocoa flavor. That does seem to help the burning...

Seriously though, I prefer to cube cut over rubbing or stuffing, especially Luxury Navy Flake and SG FVF. The flavors seem a little different to me, but it's really that I like the way cube cuts burn. I have less trouble keeping the pipe lit when I cube cut.

Possible side effect: I used to be able to fill a pipe with ribbon cut pretty satisfactorily, looks like I'm out of practice.

Very true. Human composting is almost a lost art at this point, but I figure that in the future, it will be a skill in high demand.
Always invest in developing markets!

Just be sure to remove the bones and incinerate them. Makes an amazing potassium source! Your roses will bloom like mad!

It's either that, or feed them to the pigs. They eat everything but the belts and eyeglasses, which is why those are items commonly found in rosebeds...

Failing that, just pour a little diesel onto your interred friend/foe, no animal domestic or otherwise will dig them up then :puffy:

Jay.
