Why Am I Now Required To Manually Log In?

Check your settings in whatever browser you use that remembers your user name and password.

Check your settings for 'log out automatically' also. It may be completely backing you out whenever you close your browser.

This happens to me every few months or so. I just put it down to a forgetful tablet.

No issues with my Windows 10 laptop or Android. Check browser settings on your tablet (clear cookies too?)

It happens to me also, on most of the pipe smokers forums. It's a PITA.

It's likely a setting on your device that has to do with acceptance of cookies / privacy.

Typically, a site "drops a cookie" onto your machine, which is a harmless text file that "remembers" you are logged in.

Also, if you clear history or cache, that will log you out.
